Comments: This is an update for a review written when the painter was hired prior to the project date. The following is a review after completion of the job. I was totally wrong that the project would be done to our satisfaction. Far from it. Buyer beware! Some people talk a good talk but do not or can not complete the work as promised. The prep work was terrible for this project. Almost every area mudded and sanded are still visible and shiny. Some areas not done at all. I specifically asked if the areas would be repaired in such a way they would not be visible. I was assured the areas would not show. The areas are not flush with the wall and the areas we painted swatches are very shiny also. There are several places the original paint shows through. We were told by the manager at the paint store that the entire walls should be repainted but the painter refused to reroll. Instead he redid what he had done previously (redid same areas) and the result was the same. We paid a lot of money for a very substandard job. With all due respect I sincerely do not want anyone else to go through what we went through for a simple painting and repair project. The painter said he had full filled his obligation of the contract. I felt it was not full filled due to the substandard work.Old Hickory TN
