Work Description: Install new Fujitsu HVAC unit and wireless controlled wall mounted air handler.
Comments: I just found this e-mail sent 2 1/2 months ago in my spam folder to to reply to networx contractor Review... I wish I had found this earlier! on 1/20/16 Mr. Fagone came out promptly when called, Quoted me a price of (4900.00) and was given (2500.00) up front. He returned 5 days later with both new HVAC units with another person who was represented to me as the "electrician". Fagone did not bring a work proposal or job contract as he said he would. He installed both units fairly quickly and I noticed that he didn't use anything to protect the outside electrical wiring. He also didn't properly block most of the old heat vents because he didn't bring a ladder big enough. Fagone finished the HVAC installation and wanted final payment. I paid him in full and he said he would come back to finish blocking the old heat vents, send me a contract, warranty paperwork and left without giving me the operation manual. He also said that he would have to find the remote control wall mount cradle that he didn't have with him. I had to go online to find out how to operate the new unit and found a page to register the warranties for both units! The next morning the local building department called me to report that no Building or Electrical permits were issued! (A nosy neighbor must have called seeing the work being done) I called Fagone and he got argumentative with me saying that no permits were needed! I told him that the building inspector said otherwise, I felt now that I was being scammed so I called my bank to stop payment on the final payment check I paid to Fagone. Later that same morning I got a call by mistake from an electrician who thought he was calling the Local electrical inspectors office to get a faxed electrical permit application for the work that was already done. He identified himself and I knew that he was not the same person who did the electrical work represented to me by Fagone as the "electrician" I called Fagone the next day to come finish blocking the old heat vents and he did not return my call until two days later. He said that he had a family emergency, other work and was busy. I told him that he should have called me regardless! He said that he will come out in a few days to finish the work. Three days later, when he could not cash the final payment check, he called me back real upset. I told Fagone to come back with the wireless remote cradle, mount it, bring a contract / sales receipt, HVAC operation paperwork, and finish blocking the old heat vents to complete his work and when it passes final inspection by the building department and electrical inspector, I will re-issue him the final payment. Within a two week period, the work was done and the inspections were completed. I sent him the final check on that same day... This was a near "hit and run" experience and I would not recommend using his services. Being an emergency service call, I didn't have time to research Fagone properly and without heat, my tenants pipes were in real danger of freezing. I used Fagone because he was the first one to call me back from networx...Lynn MA
