Comments: I really appreciated the service they did, they gave me an affordable pricing with quality service, but they quoted me at a higher priced first and when I declined, they called me the following day to negotiate their pricing a few hundred dollars less than the original asking price. As a consumer this is one of the reasons why we should always get a 2nd or 3rd estimate, coz you never know. Work Description: Replace leaking Rheem water heater.
Comments: E.T.S Contractor replaced Rheem water heater with Ruud water heater (which I believe is a lower quality Rheem side-brand). Total bill $2250. Rudd unit is listed at home depot for $1100. Installation took 39 mins. start to finish, so labor was $1150! Contractor failed to notice a blown water pressure reducing valve in the garage with the heater that was contributing to water on garage floor. I had the Valve replaced by a different contractor, out of curiosity I asked him about replacing the Ruud unit with a Rheem. His quote $1675 parts and labor. I was supposed to receive four quotes, didn't get other three quotes until the next day after the above was completed----a low of $1598 and a high of $1678 for a 75 gal Rheem unit including parts, labor and removal of old unit.-
