At Eco Friendly Remodeling we look at every project as a process of collaboration. That process involves building not only your home, but also a long-term relationship with you. It is based on the same principles we apply to all our projects. It's focused and streamlined, but also detailed, meticulous and very effective.

Design Phase
First, we meet with you to get to know you and understand the vision for your project.

Once we know the scope of work, we figure out what your project will cost and give you a preliminary estimate. It's worth mentioning here that our pricing policy is based on negotiated bids rather than competitive bids. We recognize that price is a very important consideration and the value we bring to your project is defined by more than just the cost of the work.

Upon your acceptance of our proposal, we sign a construction contract, which secures your project in our schedule.

Construction Phase
Once the project has started you will be working with a Project Manager. Their job is to keep your project running smoothly and to communicate clearly with you throughout the construction process. We provide daily on-site coordination and supervision to ensure the quality and efficiency of the project.

Upon completion of the project, we will do a final walk through and give you a chance to look over all the work and let us know if you want any changes or adjustments. Once everything is completed, we will call for our final inspection and conclude the project.

Donald Heinrich Schmidt RMO
Don Schmidt is a well rounded veteran Building Contractor & Construction Manager since 1978. He has been responsible for: architectural design development, permitting, budget & scheduling, pro-forma, bid negotiation, buy-out, contractor selection, quality assurance and complete horizontal & vertical construction.

Mr. Schmidt is as comfortable & natural in the field managing the superintendents, work, schedule & quality, as well as in office environments - interacting with staff & directing the contract management process & maintaining project budgets!

As a licensed California general engineering & building contractor for 30 years, Mr. Schmidt has 25 years in large scale construction project management with 20 of those years spent on-site as project superintendent and construction manager.
