This site has been designed to be as informative and educational as possible. This is what sets us apart from the rest of the concrete contractors in the business. We have come to realize that most people are usually interested in any/all available information that will aid in understanding new and unfamiliar processes.
Over the years of working in the concrete business, I have noticed that clients tend to be somewhat curious and usually have quite a few questions about concrete work. I am aiming for this site to answer most, if not all of those questions. I feel that the easiest way for me to conduct business is for the customer to be somewhat educated in the concrete trade beforehand. I am going to explain the entire process in detail - from demolition of existing concrete, setting forms properly, installing gravel/roadbase/fill, wetting ground, compacting (if necessary), re-bar reinforcement, control joints, groove designs and sealant. I am going to explain why these particular things are recommended, the costs, and make sure that you are completely informed about all of your options. I will also explain what risks you might take by opting out of certain things. Ultimately, you will be able to make an educated decision. -Mike
