Work Description: Repair and rebuild a front deck and paint interior doors.
Comments: I had to request additional coats on the interior doors which were left streaky and horrible. The front deck was not done professionally and I'm left with holes in the siding, gaps in the flooring and generally a very unprofessional finish. I will be hiring someone to correct the mistakes made. Lesson learned. Get references.

Work Description: repainting an old Queen Anne style house
Comments: I can't say enough positive about Ron and his family/crew. We live in Hawaii and we contracted with him to paint our daughter's house in Oberlin. First and foremost was his commitment to communication. He sent us 20+ emails during a three week period, asking for clarifications, telling us what he was doing and planning to do. He found things that needed to be taken care of and either did them himself charging a fair price to do them, or did a workaround while my daughter got them done. His attention to detail was truly exemplary considering we used six colors on the Queen Anne style house. He told us that he found it worthwhile to drive a bit extra so that he could spend the time doing a good job on a house that deserved it. Many people stopped to watch him work and I am sure he got several more jobs because everybody could see the quality of his workmanship. This man was easy to work with mainly because of his personal work ethic and his honesty. Anybody who uses him will be more than pleased with the sincerity he applies in every aspect of his work. And lastly, he got the work done fast and kept at it until it was done to his satisfaction. He charged a reasonable price, took no shortcuts, used quality paints, gave two coats to all the trim and the house turned out really beautiful. I think he is putting it up on his website so you should check it out and give him a call.Test AK
