Comments: DO NOT HIRE! My neighbors actually hired them for stump grinding and their machine kicked up rocks all over my house that caused damaged, they never paid for repairs.

Work Description: I hired them to take the dead branches off of my old pin oak tree to avoid having a branch fall on a nearby house, and dispose of the debris,

Comments: The tree climber did an excellent job of cutting the branches. It ended up destroying four 50 year old azalea and holly bushes on one side of the tree. I guess that's to be expected when limbs are dropped. But the crew did a cursory clean-up of the yard, because they left the ground covered by debris which included many small 2, 3, 4, 5 ft. limbs or branches as well as one 9ft. long branch. They promised to come back one particular day, moved it to the next day, then I heard nothing more. They requested lunch money and I gave them $50 for that. I am disappointed they did not clean up after their work. I am having to hire someone else to do the cleanup they should have done.

Comments: An extremely unprofessional and incomplete job. In addition, the cleanup if you can even call it that was rushed. The equipment used left tire marks in the grass, a dent in the shed and a mess in the yard. This company is very much an rip off, unreliable and most of all not trustworthy.

Comments: In all fairness, although they did a horrible job removing my bamboo, they should stick with tree removal only. They cut down one of the very tall Popular trees that was in my back yard and they did a very good job. I wish they had told me that the removal of the stump was not included. If they had, I would have paid more to get that removed as well. They also did a good job of trimming 2 large maple trees.

Work Description: Digging up and permanently removing bamboo

Comments: I hired Landsdown Tree Services, because they said they would dig up and permanently remove the bamboo in my back yard and the side of my front yard. They came with a bobcat and just ruin my yard. They left my yard a muddy mess. Bamboo rhisomes everywhere and there is still bamboo rhisomes and roots that were never dug up. Needless to say the bamboo has started growing back. When I told them I was not happy with the results, Charles told me to dig up the bamboo that grew. I thought that was what I paid him to do. His wife gave me several different dates that she "the clean up lady" would come with a crew to "clean up and dig up the bamboo that her husband, who she said "has moved on", but always had an excuse as to why she couldn't come. The last time I asked her what time her crew was coming she told me she was sick and to call her husband. I called him, he told me to send pictures of the growing bamboo and he said it looked good considering what was infested. Obviously, he doesn't realize if there is still running bamboo planted in the ground, it will all grow right back. I was trying to give them a chance to come back and make it right so I wouldn't have to give them a poor review, but now I feel like I was taken advantage of.

Comments: I was told that my entire tree was going to be removed and that is what I expected to pay for. However I was not home when the work was done. He claimed he sent a picture that never came through but my tree looks like a tree from the movie sleepy hollow. He did not cut the entire tree down. He said that he would clean up the yard for the confusion.

I had to call him back to take the tree that I clearly outlined in pictures sent to him. Although he was supposed to call Ms utility to remove the stumps, he asked me to call so I did. They told me multiple times that was his job. They came out to draw the lines on my grass. I contacted him to tell him and when he did not know I answered the phone he referred to me as DUMB. I was in awe. I paid another company to come remove the stumps he claimed he was going to remove to be done with his poor customer service.

Never have I felt so disrespected by someone I hired. He gives black owned businesses a bad name.

Comments: I hired them to cut back and trim two crepe myrtle trees and cut down a maple tree that had a broken trunk and was ready to topple from a bad storm a month prior. They did an excellent job of both. The crew was very professional and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. The price was far less than any of the other quotes I had received. I would use them again and recommend them highly.

Work Description: They were hired to remove the whole tree which had fallen down in a storm and level the bit of stump still in the ground. This is how I described the job. They cut up the trunk and ground up the root ball (stump) which was above ground and attached to the trunk, hauled away the trunk and left the ground up stump in a one foot thick layer all over a 10'x10' area of the vines. They allowed that they never remove the "chips" and I would have to hire landscapers to remove. Part of the stump, which was left in the ground but sticking above grade they also left as the big stump grinder could not get to it.

I did not hire them to only remove what the big tool could get to but to deal with the whole sticking up stump. I did not hire them to just grind up the exposed root ball and leave it but to remove the whole tree. Grinding up the root ball is not the same as removing it. The stump was still there just in a ground up form.

They asked for payment in advance, which they got, but did not do the complete job as I understood it to be and asked for.

I should have been told that I would be left with a truckload of ground up stump if that was not part of the job.

Comments: I would not recommend them or ever use them again.
Ms. Stern hired us to remove a very large tree that had fallen on her property. Once we arrived on site, we noticed that she had an extremely large root ball that would also need to be removed. We explained to Ms. Stern that if she rented the equipment needed, we would remove the root ball without additional charge. As we began chipping away at the tree and the root ball, we noticed that a portion of root ball was extracted beneath her concrete steps and dwelling of her home. We explained to Ms. Stern that there were pros and cons to removing the root ball. We could remove what was right at her concrete steps but there was the probability of damage. She did not want to waiver the damage, therefore we were unable to remove anything other than what we were able to get to. Regarding the mulch left behind. We agreed to work with Ms. Stern within her budget. Our price was only to remove the large tree. Ms. Stern never paid up front. She made a deposit for the removal of the tree and the balance was paid once we completed.

Work Description: They cut down 3 trees and a large branch from another tree in under 5 hours!!!
The team is large and they arrived with all equipment to cut and grind the branches on site...incredible job and very kind and friendly owner, "Boss Lady " even helped raking the neighbor's yard !

Work Description: Custom Perimeter fence for my home

Comments: The actual fence was ok but the company didn't finishing the job. The door latches were not complete, they never came back to do a walk through and to remove their left over material (i.e., concrete). Finishing touches were poorly done, and the customer service was poor. Even until this day, we have not reconnected with the owner of the company to do a walkthrough of the job. He has continuously avoided our calls. The owner was evasive and didn't follow up. I would never refer them to anyone. I graded the overall job poor due to the fact that the owner didn't feel it was important to do a walkthrough after numerous attempts to do so.
