Wes Barrett, President of CNR Builders, started his career in engineering in 1985 and has been working in the Greater Houston area for the past 29 years. As an experienced contractor, Wes has developed a company with a diverse expertise in General Contracting, Design/Build, Construction Management, and Consulting services. Wes, along with the rest of the CNR Builders' team, aim to provide high quality projects and guide clients through every step of the construction project.

CNR did a fantastic job for me from beginning to end. I am a first time business owner and a woman so my experience with contract negotiation on rental space, construction permitting, architectural and engineering was very limited. I came to CNR with a site location near the intersection of Champions Forest Drive and Spring Cypress. The strip center had one space that was available for rent (35′ x 75′). CNR assisted me in contract negotiations with developer and was able to help me get a $30/ft2 build out cost reimbursement from the developer saving me almost $80K in build out costs. I was able to use this additional funds to finance my inventory and product displays. CNR located and hired the architectural firm and mechanical/electrical engineering firms to help in the floor space layouts. I just told them what I wanted and they made sure it was incorporated into the design. They even came up with an idea to build a second floor in the back of the space for my inventory storage. Once architectural drawings were complete, they assisted in the permitting process so that we could start construction. I had a very aggressive schedule and they were able to complete construction phase and final walk through and approval of the Fire Marshall in time for my grand opening. I get compliments from all my customers when they walk in and see my new gift store. CNR made it unique and beautiful. I am planning on using CNR for my next store location.
