Work Description: Bathroom demo and install tile kitchen and dining room floors tiled and backsplash in kitchen
Comments: I hired Vincent Queli to do work for me at an apartment in Paterson. He gave me a quote and I accepted. Bathroom for the most part is fine, didn't protect new tub properly and left it dirty with grout and thin set left on tub that I had to get off. He left grout all over the new floors and when asked about it he offered for me to hire a cleaning lady he knows. I never saw a contractor not clean up. I had to clean the floors. He misquoted the backsplash and when his coworker measured the space with me there 30 sq ft. He should have called me to say that it would be a few hundred more, instead tiles half the space and tells me that it wasn't in the budget. No matter how many times I tried to call him to talk about things so there wouldn't be mistakes he would go do work without telling me which I asked him to do so we could avoid things like this. He let the grout burn into the brand new countertops and will not do anything about it. He is very unprofessional and has poor communication skills. I should have never given him final payment that he said he needed to buy the rest of the tile and materials needed to finish the job. Also cut new trim for floor and bathroom in one of the bedrooms that I had tarps down and tape because I was going to paint it. He left sawdust and all the left over pieces on my tarps, sawdust was everywhere and when asked he told me he ran out of garbage bags again I had to clean up after him. So now I have a half tiled wall that is going to be difficult to get finished. Would not recommend him.-
