Work Description: Drywall Repair/Patching

Comments: The guys that came out were amazing. They went the extra mile and helped me with the washer and dryer vales. They did an excellent job and didn't take long. I would definitely recommend them.

Comments: They were not expert with installing sand plaster, caulking and trim.
After several failed attempts to get a 150.00 deposit the job was scheduled. The job was completed to her satisfaction. She signed off as such on our certificate of satisfaction form. Upon completion she told the workers she would make payment which she did not pay in full for 3 weeks after sending her request to pay she had only paid 75%. The job was for only 400.00 to begin with. 4 weeks later she decides to change to design of the work. Her house is about 25 miles away and wants us to change it for free. When she was told there would be a trip charge to make a modification she writes this unreasonable review and declines to pay the balance. As a pastor of New Life church you would think she would set a better example for her followers.

Work Description: plaster repair and restore floor

Comments: I would use them over and over; I had a plumbing issue that required the opening up of the floor in a bedroom, The first company opened the floor and did the mitigation underneath the house. They informed me that they would not be able to do any further work on the floor due to back-log of jobs, so I was aware. February 25, 2022, they laid a temporary floor. while the company checked on the mitigation (drying time) one of their lead people informed me that their company could now finish the floor. I asked when, how long, etc. I was told 1-2 weeks. I never heard from them with any appointment date(s). on March 8,2022 they came to my home to confirm the work order to complete the floor project. Another two-week period passed w/o any contact from the company. I went to Thumbtack to secure a contractor to do some plastering, and after talking with 3 prospective contractors a selected Bordeaux Construction. Lee and Danny were great to work with. they arrived the next day and started the work. they were on time, sent text messages. they reviewed the contract. they cleaned up the bulky large pieces, and they even wiped down some of the dust. the work was excellent the price was competitive and good quality. I asked Lee about the floor, that needed to be replaced for a month and he looked at the job said that they could start the job the next day. They provided an estimate, and my insurance co. accepted the proposal. two days later I had a 3/4-inch permanent sub-floor down and padding and carpet was ordered, and in a total of 7 days my floor was completed and beautifully done. Again, they arrived on time, cleaned up the bulk of waste and did an outstanding job. Thank- you Bordeaux Construction especially, Lee, Danny, and Rachel.

Work Description: Renovate my 100 year old house.

Comments: Bordeaux Construction did a beautiful job of renovating my 100 year old house. From replacing floors, stripping wallpaper off the walls that dated back to 1953, to tearing down an old fence and replacing it with a new wooden fence. They upgraded the screened in front porch with tile and redid the front yard and watered it until it was sold. Everything was done professionally and this house sold for full price quickly. That just proves what a great job they did!

Comments: He came out and quoted the concrete job but I chose to go with someone else. However I hired him to replace a nonstandard door, paint, and install new cabinet handles in the kitchen. It is an older house.

The header was a little out but not too bad. The door was cut too narrow, the hinges were set too deep, and the top of the door was not cut to match the header. Rather than buy a new door and do it right he kept trying to make that one work. He eventually got it better, but it wasn't right.

I bought another door and had someone else put it in.
A new door was purchased, the hinges were brought out flush to the wood. The door closed perfectly. The door and job were paid and signed off on a certificate of satisfaction form. This review of the door comes 60 days after completion. I believe it is unfair and inaccurate to review a $6,000 job which included painting a large 2-bedroom rental property, wall repairs, repainting kitchen cabinets and installing hardware based on a $300 door.

Comments: The job was actually more complicated. Involved painting and repair of a large unground pool. Fair price; went out of his way last minute on a weekend to finish the job. Excellent quality. I highly recommend this company. Just an all round good guy.
