Work Description: Basement remodel
Comments: Adam Chen did a complete remodel of my basement. He ended up attaching cold and hot water pipes which caused a banging noise for 3 months. He hired 4 independent contractors to look at it. And finally paid me to fix the issue. Wait there’s more. Adam’s crew installed a new sewer line which backed up on Christmas Day. He refused to fix it. At that point we went through fair claims court where I was awarded 15k. Instead of paying, he sent me a notice that he was going to put a lien of my house, since he felt the arbitration wasn’t fair. The work was completed in September 2020 and he decided to put the lien on my home in April of 2021 because he did not feel the arbitration was fair. In the end. I have had to fix his plumbing and now his sewer line that he refuses to pay for. Only positive I have to say about this company is that they are good painters. Adam does not do any work, he’ll pass by for a few minutes and does not assess the work of his workers. My vanity dropped on my pregnant wife twice. His contractor broke my $250 faucet, and he refuses to close up the ceiling that he opened up for me to change the pipes. I would only hire this company for cosmetic purposes. They cannot do plumbing properly. Good luck to anyone who hires them. I wish you the best.-
