Work Description: I hired Beautiful Contracting to replace drywall in the master bathroom and master bedroom closet, bedroom wood floor installation including the subfloor and seal the third floor shower floor.

Comments: I had a water damaged wood floor replaced. I purchased the wood. I was stunned when I came home and the new wood did not match the old wood at all and it had already been laid. They also left the the bathroom very dirty and did not put the toilet holder or the vent back. The next phase of work, painting the drywall, install chair rail and molding was never completed after the contractor tried to charge me four times the amount that she quoted and that was after cancelling five appointments.
No that's not how all the situation went. Upon beginning the project, it turned into much more. I gave Mrs. Holmes a fabulous discount on her project and she expected me to do the remaining project for free. I did not open a business to work for free. The amount on the project, I quoted which I continued to honor, barely even covered labor. MRS. HOLMES did not want to even pay a fair amount for the project, overall. Mrs. Holmes bought the materials and Was very well aware it was a different color. I advised her to take the loose pieces she had to the original floor up to a floor supply company, and match it. She stated she did and was fully aware it didn't match. I wasn't aware and even called Mrs. Holmes before the floor was laid and advised her...she was very well aware floor didn't match. Upon appointment cancelations, no it was not 5 appts. Canceled. Each time my subs were at the property they didn't have entry into the property. They had to wait over an hour to even enter property. Even when I went on site to property, in evening, when Mrs. Holmes was home, I had to wait over 1/2 hr to even enter the property. What Mrs. Holmes is upset about is she wanted chair rail, trim, paint, supplies and labor for free to dress up her vanity, closet and bath. The original project was sheetrock install and repair and sand. We completed the project. She wanted the rest for free and stated that I advised her, 15ft of decorative chair rail install, trim and paint was going to be $30. That is obsurd. She even textra back and forth and was aware of the prices. I still have all texts to prove what I am saying is true. That isn't true about the area because I made sure it was clean before the subs left and how I did that is I went to the property. Mrs. Holmes said every sub has done her wrong. That was what she first told me when I met her. Well, I should've known whom is the common denomination is the events of her work.
