Artek has painted more than half of our interior walls, and totally transformed the exterior appearance of our home with updated Hardi, window shutters, and a brilliant paint scheme. While doing the job, the crew noticed that the insulation was lacking, the support beams were not straight, and the windows were not evenly set. Artek took the extra time to do the needed repairs (unforeseen during the estimate) and found a solution to get the job completed, correctly. They went over and beyond the call of duty.
We have had the front living room remodeled with a pocket French door, tile, base boards, and paint. Once again, the work was exceptional and done in a timely fashion, by employees that were polite and able to answer any question we had.
Upon each estimate, we were given a fair price, but most importantly, we were advised of solutions that worked out better, or were more advantageous to our needs, and ended up costing us less.
We are very pleased with the quality and professionalism of Artek Remodeling. We will continue to use Artek for all of our home repairs and improvements.

Work Description: Residential Remodel
Comments: My wife and I were moving back home to Houston from Colorado and our realtor was helping us find the perfect home. We found one that was priced just right, had everything we wanted but hadn’t been updated in while. We were hesitant to move forward due to the work we felt needed to be done, cosmetically, to the home. That’s when our realtor brought in Artek Remodeling to counsel us. They walked through the entire house making notes, asking questions and getting a sense of what we would want to do upon move in. The next day they provided us with a proposal that included full interior/exterior painting, custom interior design assistance and some minor bathroom/kitchen remodeling. It was a fraction of the cost of what we were expecting and we moved forward with the purchase. Artek was a dream to work with. The owner was on-site every day, answered all questions, explained every step in the process and the finished result far exceeded our expectations. I have and will continue to recommend Artek to everyone I know!

Work Description: Commercial Remodel and Interior Painting
Comments: I have known and worked with Mike Jennings and Artek Remodeling on reconstruction and remodeling projects for a few years now. I was referred to Mike by a friend much like I now referring him to you. You trust your friends advice; I know the value of my circle of friends’ personal experience, I own my own business. It is critical; word of mouth networking is by far the most valuable form of marketing and developing my business. My friend referred me to Mike; now Mike is my friend.My first experience came at a tough time for lots of Houstonians; we needed help reconstructing and correcting some issues at the office after Hurricane. It was a tough time to get anyone in to help; everyone in Houston needed help….many in town were happy to get any kind of help. I got great service and value for my budget dollar at a time other contractors might not have been so reputable. I know; I have been there before. This project was complicated, too; we had “work-arounds”—improving this, living with that---and we had to work around other contractors---this must be done before that, but after the other contractor. Mike was the first in and the first out.
So, when the time came for another, less time-sensitive---and no insurance budget—project, you know who I called. I called Artek. We have a customer that uses this big red button called the Easy Button in their advertising; I hit the Easy Button and called Mike. I have a great HVAC guy that had work to do on this project, too, but Mike was in and out before my HVAC guy could get the gas plumbed. Got more details if needed, but simply remember the Easy Button like I do and get value for your expense dollar.
