Comments: I was very impressed with their ability to respond immediately and come see the damage on my deck. Stu came out the same day I called and gave me the estimate the next day. Shortly after this incident I had to go out of town. I came home after a week and a half , Stu and his crew were almost completed with the deck. The cedar deck looked amazing!Riverhead NY

We did have four estimates and as another plus, Stuart's firm was the lowest. (When is the lowest bid the best??) I have bragged about the job to everyone and when I show them the pictures they are so impressed.
We are looking to replace our roof in the near future and hopefully, Stuart will be available!
We are thrilled with our newly improved home and thank Stuart and his crew!!

Exterior of our cottage. We had called in six contractors. Stu presented a very competitive bid.
The differentiator for us was that Stu was the only contractor who pointed out concerns that nobody else did, that would have been missed or would have become change orders which I hate.
Being a mechanical contractor , i am aware of a lot of the tricks of the trade.
Stu also is quite creative and my wife and Stu made some additional improvements which have had a great impact on the value of our cottage.
Betty and I were very comfortable with Stu and his AMS team that we left him full access to our cottage.
For us communication is key and Stu readily responds to his phone, texts and emails. At times I am a bit pushy, well more then pushy , and I did appreciate Stu's tolerance.
Stu is not a yes man, and was not afraid to challenge me at times, in a polite manner of course and I found this very helpful to ensure the right work was performed.
Finally, Stu was integral in the 9/11 evacuation , read his website, that hit home for me, as I lost many associates and two employees that fateful day.
Stu gets 5 donuts out of 5 from me. From Betty i guess it would 5 out of 5 carrots!

He also is a mean kitchen cabinet installer: he can put one up practically with one hand. I saw it with my own eyes.
He can provide many other services. For us that included mold remediation, window installs, fence building, gorgeous wood outdoor shower, two porches, painting. Hiring Stuart for multiple projects in your home at same time is cost effective. He's also a really nice guy. We consider him a friend and will work with him again in the future.
