Work Description: Repair of main line break.
Comments: First the repairman did not arrive at the time promised. It took more than twice the amount of time. He was able to repair the break to the main line, but it created some other problems in the house. A few of these were not discovered until after he had already left. For example, the hall toilet bowl would not fill. When called to ask if someone could come out again to assess the problem, was told just get another flowmaster, the one you have must be old. That flowmaster had been changed only three months earlier. It was no way it was the flowmaster. Then, the cold water at the kitchen sink was not working. Told it must be a shut off valve that needed to be replaced. Had to stop payment on check in order to get them to come out and make necessary repairs. This was an additional charge to me of $35.00. But, if I had not stopped payment, they would never have come back. Received run around and had to demand follow-up by stopping payment on check. This was a very frustrating experience, to say the least. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Unfortunately, I was stuck as it was a Sunday and little other assistance was available to me on this day of the week.Grand Prairie TX

Work Description: Fix a leaky outside pipe
Comments: Very quick response from all 3 vendors! Very impressive! However,I asked for a quote, the contractor 24 hour plu,ning said they would come at 9 am on 7/20/11, I had my mother greet them as i was at work, instead of quoting the man looked at the problem then fixed it while mother was inside the house. Mother said the technician was outside for 10 minutes then I was called at work to "Pay" when I asked for a quote. Not cool. $125 for 10 min. When I asked him on the phone why he didn't quote me first he said they wouldn't have come out with gas prices for a quote. That was not what I was told on the phone when I made my inquiry. Work Description: Replaced a copper line leading to the water heater
Comments: I called over 6 plumbers and no one was available on Friday, February 4th due to the snow storm. We had water pouring out of the back of our house. The water department immediately came out and turned our water off.After calling plumber after plumber, I noticed a link where I could insert my zip code and someone would call me.
24 hour Plumbing was the only call I received. They gave us realistic expectations due to the storm. They promptly called us back to say that they could come earlier after a cancellation.
The assessed the problem and even went to Home Depot to purchase needed parts and worked diligently until our problem was solved.
I will definitely use them and (as a real estate agent) refer them to my customers.

Work Description: Installation of bradford & white gas water heater...$800 + tax ($866)
Comments: Technicians arrived 30 minutes after time quoted: 9AM. Technicians were polite, quick (2 hour installation), however, sauter/paint dropped on my driveway. Technicians used and removed an old rag from the garage. I can't speak to quality of product; too early to tell. Additionally, I was told that the "plumbers" were certified, but, I am not convinced of the truth of this statement. Installed on 11/15/10 and so far everything seems fine.-
