Low water pressure is generally caused by shower heads or by sediment built up in your water heater. Before you go out and buy a new shower head, try flushing out your water heater. First, turn the heater off and disconnect the inlet pipe to your water heater. Next, open the release valve at the bottom of your water heater and drain the water. Close the release valve. Next, add a few cups of tub and tile cleaner to your water tank. Fill the tank with cold water and let sit for an hour. Reconnect the inlet pipe. Open the release valve and then turn on the hot water faucet in a sink. When the water runs clear (no more bubbles), your hot water heater is clean and you can turn it on again.
