Washing hardwood floors with vinegar isn't an old wives tale! It is actually one of the most recommended methods for cleaning hardwood floors- and it really works. An additional perk- it's cheap. You can purchase large quantities of vinegar from stores like Costco and Sam's Clubs for additional savings. Simply add some vinegar (a few capfuls usually is enough) to a bucket of filled with warm water. Dampen a rag with the mixture and wipe away. Attach the rag to a broom or mop head for quick, efficient and eco-friendly wood floor cleaning. Using vinegar will keep your floors looking great and clean and will prolong the life of the floor.
