Store Your Light Bulbs Safely

As a responsible homeowner, you purchase light bulbs before the old ones burn out. But how exactly do you store them safely? Assuming you have plenty of storage space, you can leave the light bulbs in their original boxes and keep them on a high shelf, out of reach of children. Another option is to buy a light bulb organizer box. There are some heavy-duty, coated cardboard chests made specifically to safely store about 40 light bulbs. They typically have a divided drawer or two and run about $20. They are available online through various retailers. Alternatively, you can find a tackle box or any other divided, hard-sided container. Either way, you will save space and find it much easier to locate the right bulb when they're all stored in the same place.
