So you're putting baseboards in one room, and you need a miter saw. You do not want to pay $300 bucks for a nice power tool you may never use again. Time to check out Zilok power tool rentals. If you live in Abilene, Texas, you can rent a miter saw from a fellow resident for $15 per day. That's 1/20th the cost of a new saw, and you can probably get the baseboard cut in one day. The peer-to-peer rental site also offers party furniture, electronics and a range of random household items. It's still ramping up, but has a few offerings in every region of the country.
