Painting Tip: The Best Time to Paint the Exterior of a House

When exactly is the best time of year to paint? Although where you are located will affect the equation (such as areas that are rainy or are extremely hot), Peace Painting Co. recommends that fall is the ideal time to paint. It's not too hot, so paint can take it's proper time to soak in and dry, and it's not so cold that the paint will get weakened by repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Spring comes next, because of the similar mild temperatures, but the presence of pollen in the air keeps it in second place.
