How to Repair a Table with Uneven Legs

Do you have a table at home with uneven legs? It makes eating, reading, and writing more difficult when your table shifts back and forth. But you don't need to deal with that much longer. For a quick fix, simply slide an empty matchbook or a small piece of cardboard under the short table leg/s where the problem lies. This should stabilize the table for immediate use. Then, when you have a little more time, move the table around to a few different flat locations in your home to make sure that the problem is actually with your table legs, and not with an uneven floor. Once you're sure the legs are the problem, then you'll need to get a hold of some scrap wood that you can cut and glue to the short leg or legs. When the wood glue has dried, stand the table on all fours and make sure it now stands evenly. If not, add more scrap wood or sand down the existing wood scrap until you have a solidly firm table.
