Driveway Asphalt Cracks

If maintained regularly, you can easily fix asphalt cracks. For cracks less than 1/2 inch wide, use rubberized asphalt-emulsion crack filler, applied with a caulking gun or poured.
Cracks 1/2" or wider require "asphalt cold-patch," a product sold by the bag or can.
Cracks over 2-inches wide, or potholes mean more serious damage that may require replacement, which is when the reader should think about laying concrete or bricks instead.
