DIY Wednesdays: The Short List

So many projects, so little time. Here are a few on my list:
DIY Glass Bubble Chandelier:
The good folks at Readymade.com have provided instructions on how to make a chandelier out of glass balls. I'm planning on embellishing the plan by adding two or three times as many glass balls so that mine is basically a ball of glass balls. I'll post pictures when I finish it.
DIY Window Screen Replacement: I have a big, irregularly shaped window that would cost a fortune to install a screen in. DIY Network's instructions are pretty easy, and require minimal hardware and tools. I'll let you know how it goes.
DIY Toilet Re-caulk: I'm following Networx writer Caryn Colgan's advice on how to re-caulk my bathroom. Instead of bleach, I'm going to use hydrogen peroxide to clean the existing caulk. I am very excited to do this project, as I am living with mold left by the previous tenant.
DIY Vertical Garden: I have metal rafters in my apartment, which are perfect to hang heavy decorating objects from. After recently hanging a plant from one of the rafters by repurposing a silverware holder and some clamp-like Japanese clothespins, the wheels have been spinning about other ways to use the rafters to hang plants. I will have to figure out a way to prevent water from staining the wall behind the vertical garden.
Cheap DIY Curtains: When in doubt, default to Martha. I've been thinking about adding an opaque curtain to my sheers, and this idea does not require sewing.
I'll post photos next Wednesday! Post your DIY photos.
