DIY Inspiration: Building With Old Car Parts

The Berkeley, California-based Leger Wanaselja Architecture firm has created a novel structure entirely out of used car parts. Instead of calling in a San-Francisco carpenter, Karl Wanaselja built his "Part-thenon" shed DIY style using automobile components like skylights, hoods and windshields.

Have you ever used an unusual material in a DIY project? Let us know in the comments!
