Denture Tablets Get Your Bathroom Going
Even if you haven't reached a stage in life where you need to stock denture tablets in your medicine chest, you may want to pick up a pack. If you drop a tablet into your toilet bowl, wait 20 minutes or overnight and then flush, your porcelain bowl will sparkle. A quick scrub before the flush will produce even better results. And next time that sink starts to drain slowly, drop a tablet or two down the drain, turn on the water and let it run until the sink drains at a normal speed. Denture tablets will also remove the sediment that is clogging your showerhead. If the showerhead is removable, soak it in a bowl or bucket with denture tablets dissolved in water. If not, fill a bag with water, drop in the tablets and tie it to the showerhead to soak. That should remove the clogs.
Other household denture tablet applications include using them to clean your diamonds, to eradicate mineral deposits from coffee makers and vases, and to remove coffee and tea stains from mugs.
