If your home is lacking in storage and your budget doesn't cover buying a large piece right now, you can make a great decorative piece that looks good and is still very functional. Set up a simple wire storage cube set(s) into your required size, top with a piece of luan cut to size and cover with a piece of decorative fabric. If you wish, you can top with a piece of glass cut to size for a wet/dry surface.
