Coffee Grounds Keep Dust Down

With winter in full-swing, you're probably using your fireplace more often. And of course, as a responsible homeowner, you're keeping it clean. But do you find that when you go to remove the ashes from the fireplace the dust flies everywhere and you end up having to clean more than just the fireplace?  Take your damp coffee grounds from your morning cup of Joe and sprinkle them on the ashes before you scoop them out. They'll weigh down the ashes and dampen them just enough to reduce the dust, but won't turn the ashes into an impossible-to-clean paste.
