Boil Old Hardware to Make It Look New

This tip is from Reclaimed Home via Brooklyn Modern. Boil old, paint-covered hardware in water and baking soda for 20 minutes to remove paint and rust. The paint should slide off easily, and you can scrape off any remaining gunk with a wire brush.
