It can be confusing when faced with a broken or malfunctioning appliance - do you get it fixed, try to do it yourself or scrap the machine and start anew? A Hometalk member recently encountered such a situation when they discovered a punctured coil on their small refrigerator.

The contractors at Woodbridge Environmental did not hesitate at all with their answer -- a big no. They explained that the costs associated with fixing the coil along with the difficult work involved make it a no-brainer to get a new fridge.

What a relief that it's a cut and dry solution. Even though the appliance needs to be replaced, at least the money will be saved from having to pay someone to deliver the bad news!
