What tool would you hope to have if you were trapped on a deserted island?
A knife; to cut and prepare food with and for protection. Something practical, not intuitive.
How would you decorate an ideal room for your sessions? Any particular color or shapes?
I would love to have my own office. I like to set up a nice atmosphere that's relaxing, warm and comfortable. So I'd decorate with candles to use softer light, quiet music, pretty colors: combinations of purples, blues, dark pinks and greens; not earthy, more mystical. Certain beautiful stones would be a definite addition to look at, hold and connect with. Nothing frightening or religious. A little round stone table, a crystal ball on a shelf with other decorations.
Do you think that furniture, walls and objects hold energy? If so, what materials do you think absorb the most~ rock, metal, wood, fabric or plastic?
Yes. Spirits get attached to items and homes; especially old homes. For some reason limestone tends to attract spiritual activity. The faults in the earth also hold energy or in stone or iron.
Do you think that objects, lights or things in the home get in the way of clear thinking or a clear mind?
Absolutely yes; objects and colors can be distracting. Especially if someone has migraines. Someone could get a seizure from certain lights; people are sensitive to TV as well and can affect our moods.
What is the best room you've been in that helps your work? What was the design like?
My back porch. I set up a gazebo, a little round clay, tile-like table with a star shape in the middle. But my only concern is a private room or area. I need them comfortable so that no one else hears certain things.
Do you think that people can be positively and negatively influenced by the energy of their homes?
Yes, if someone has a negative spirit in the home you can ask it to leave. Fear feeds a lot of negative energy and panicking; once you get anxious you need to calm yourself down. We need to take a moment for ourselves. You can bless your own home to create more positive energy.

What tool would you hope to have if you were trapped on a deserted island?
Some people like tuning forks. My smudger; most days I do that in the morning. I burn sage to clear the energy.
What materials would you use to make an ideal room for your sessions? Any particular color or shape of the room?
A lot of wood and water to soothe myself and anyone else I'm doing work on. Fountains to remind me of the forest. I'm a tree hugging reiki master. Greenery and plants to create a woodsy realm. Stones, Shells, crystals, comfy pillows. To keep it free flowing. Don't have sharp lines and objects. Make it round and circular to have an endless energy feel.
Do you think that furniture, walls and objects hold energy? If so, what materials do you think absorb the most~ rock, metal, wood, fabric or plastic?
It goes like this: if you're in a preexisting room, any object does. Use sweeping motion to break up energy and smudging with a sage stick which is a Native American practice. This way you start fresh. It's a natural way to clean. Things that are porous are rocks; they've been on the earth for so long. Wood is less porous because the molecules aren't as tight. Air cleanses because the molecules are further apart and are able to permeate the energy.
What is the best room you've been in that helps your work?
The forest! I do a lot of work in the woods. Just by lighting my candles and being with the animals.
Since people are so connected to their homes; what advice would you give to someone about the energy of their home?
Live with things and surround yourself with things that you absolutely love. Things that benefit you in a positive way that have positive memories. Clutter attracts chaos in your life. My house is my sacred space; I keep it clean before I leave for work every day, open up the windows in the morning. It makes me feel grounded.

What materials would you use to make an ideal room for your sessions? Any particular color or shape of the room?
Wood, a rectangular shape, green.
Do you think that furniture, walls and objects hold energy? If so, what materials do you think absorb the most~ rock, metal, wood, fabric or plastic?
Definitely, yes! Anything with earth. Yin energies with earth and water, of course wood.
How would objects, lights and furniture effect a room?
Light is good. Solar panels. Depends on the size of the room. The yang heavy energies are more masculine like leather chairs and darker colors. The most important thing is for people to really sit down and think about how they want to make changes. There's a time to knock down walls; physically and psychologically. Sit in a room with the lunar phases; start with the new moon, a quarter moon, ¾ and the full moon.
What consulting advice can you give for house related issues and remodeling?
There's a lot of things to consider. It depends on what stage the house is in. When building a house I like to know what's under the land. I go to houses that are just skeletons. I will bring my feng shui compass and astrology chart. The door should be in proportion to the entire place. Make a big front door and a small back door not facing each other. The corners of the house are also important; be particular about corners. Most every house will have a portal. There will be an open area where everyone can feel it. A portal is a spot where it's easiest for spirits to enter; good or bad.
Putting an arch in the west position is a good idea. It's a rounded shape; an arch should not face the east. East is sunrise, strong and vibrant to the start of the day. The west is timeless. Casinos have a lot of rounded edges like it's timeless.
High cathedral ceilings could be a heating nightmare but could be good for a tall person.
